Review of Heavenly Haven by Christine Lindsay

It’s obvious that Jack Burke’s wife Shaina is upset with him and he can’t blame her. He did promise they’d be able to spend their anniversary together but here he was, staring at his wife’s stiff back and trying to think of some way to get rid of the chill in the room. Shaina isn’t cutting him any slack and when Jack leaves for his work with the Washington Avalanche Control, she has her own pity party and decides to take matters into her own hands – she’ll celebrate without him by taking her kids on a trip.
That’s when things go from bad to worse. Will Shaina’s anger put not only her but her children in danger? Will the couple be able to breach the gap widening between them before it grows into a chasm? Will Shaina listen to God’s voice?

This story, the fourth in Kathi Macias’ 12 Days of Christmas Series, grips the reader from the first paragraph as the tension builds. Some good reminders here about relationships. Another winner in this series.
